They believe I am what they see me as, rather than what they do not see. But I am the great unseen, not what I cause myself to be in any particular moment. In a sense, I am what I am not. It is from the Am-notness that I come, and to it I always return.”
And now that I exist, I exist to change, to change is to mature and to mature is to go on creating, to create and live in my own color.
Color that follows the changes and process of dealing with my emotions, my emotional honesty.
In my own palette,
In my own canvas.
It is an acknowledgement of life, a confession of my feelings, and a celebration of the painting process.
My meaning of life.
What I am feeling is what I paint. I paint in a meditative state which explains the introspective demeanor of many of my figures. These emotions are a binding human force....that connects with the viewer. The details of the story become personal once the emotion has been triggered.
